Nella puntata di questa settimana Marta ospita nuovamente Francesco e Alberto, per parlare di un famosissimo evento della storia egizia: la battaglia di Qadesh, che vide contrapporsi le forze ittite all’esercito di Ramesse II. Moltissimo è stato scritto su questa battaglia e questa puntata, con la guida dei nostri ospiti, cercherà di ripercorrerne i momenti salienti, ma anche di ricostruirne antecedenti e conseguenze, analizzando le forze in campo, la loro organizzazione e le strategie messe in atto dalle due parti. Insomma, speriamo di offrirvi uno sguardo un po’ diverso sul conflitto che contribuì a creare l’immagine del “faraone trionfante” Ramesse II e che portò ad una lunga e duratura pace nell’area siro-palestinese.
