Good day, everyone! Time for your friendly neighborhood weather update. Let's see what Mother Nature has in store for Fort Worth, Texas.
Today, we're looking at partly sunny skies with a high near 92 degrees. It might feel a bit hotter with heat index values reaching up to 99. Winds coming from the south-southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour with gusts as high as 25 miles per hour.
Tonight, expect partly cloudy conditions with a low around 74. The southeasterly wind continues at 5 to 15 miles per hour and could gust up to 30 miles per hour.
Moving on to Juneteenth, there's a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 pm. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 88 degrees. Winds coming from the east at 5 to 15 miles per hour, gusting up to 25 miles per hour.
As we head into the middle of the week, Wednesday night brings a continued 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 am. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with a low around 74 degrees.
Thursday features a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 pm. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 89. Winds from the east at 5 to 10 miles per hour, gusting up to 20 miles per hour. Thursday night remains mostly cloudy with a low around 74.
Now, looking towards the end of the week, Friday looks mostly sunny with a high near 93. Calm winds in the morning will become southeast around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon. Friday night will be mostly clear with a low around 75
The weekend ahead will see temperatures rising. Saturday will be sunny with a high near 95, and Sunday even hotter with a high near 98. Both nights will be mostly clear with lows around 77 and 78, respectively.
And finally, as we head into next week, Monday is expected to be sunny and hot with a high near 99.
