show moreToday on The Good Girl Confessional I'm chatting with Kelly Pearson, a serious wine maker in her 50's, who has created her own cheeky label - Ladygarden Wines. Ladygarden wines has a range of wines, from sparking, to crisp whites and dark reds.
Kelly has been in the Australian wine industry for decades, but she has also worked as a wine maker in California, USA, as well as China and India.
In an Industry that sees only 10% of top jobs going to women, Kelly has created a brand, based in Geelong Victoria, with a purpose to celebrate female wine makers and create opportunities for women in this field. Kelly also collaborates with other female wine makers to bring wine to the world.
Kelly is passionate about all aspects of the wine industry and likes to share her knowledge of wine in a fun and intetresting way! I know I learnt so much chatting with her on the podcast. Her passion to help other women to succeed in a competitive industry is really inspiring and very kick ass. We chat about what her journey, and the risks she took to be her own boss.
