On this episode we cover anxiety, the mechanics behind it and how to process it.

Nowadays we are running on high levels of stress that are causing us to be anxious all the time.

It is ok to have some levels of stress in our life, in fact, this could be very useful at work or when it comes to accomplishing goals. But when there’s too much stress or continuous high levels of stress, we can’t perform at all.

Anxiety is like a light switch, turned on by our primitive brain. When we allow the emotion and process it, we turn off that switch and we can then access the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain that can think, use logic and evaluate the situation, so we can choose how to act instead or reacting from a flight or fight mode.

We also cover how kids deal with anxiety and teach you some tools to assist with your children in processing their anxiety and lowering their stress levels.
