125: Occupy Till I Come and Other Tales from the Cellar

Cellar Door Skeptics Podcast is at it again with another episode solely focused on the Chris Squared discussions of current events and relevant science topics. The show begins with a discussion of the recently deceased Barbara Bush, Justin Bieber’s religious musical, and a discussion on Stephen Hawking’s final paper.

If that was not enough to entice you, the duo resurrects “Crazy S*** Chris Used to Believe”. They delve into a look at the internet pastor Dave who thinks masturbation makes you gay. And they do not stop their as they talk about Tanner’s upbring with the willfully ignorant church who taught Tanner things it took years to correct. They examine how “Pastor Dave” is not the coach he seems and work toward engaging the bible in a thoughtful discussion on how crazy “Pastor Dave” spews toxicity in the ears of those who listen.

The show wraps up talking about artificial sweeteners, the science or lack thereof, and how we should all do our due diligence to ensure that we do not believe the trending garbage spewed in the name of “natural health”.
