Believe it or not, there has been more good stuff on TV this year than just True Detective and Game of Thrones. First up we have the TV adaptation of Rodriguez’s From Dusk Til Dawn debuting in the US on his own ‘El Ray’ network and shortly after on Netflix in the UK. Amazon then respond with their acquisition of Starz’ brutal pirate epic, Black Sails. The Sundance channel follows up last year’s magnificent Rectify, with The Red Road, starring Conan/Game of Thrones’ Jason Momoa. We also agree to disagree on the second season of Cinemax’s Banshee, go all documentary style with Cosmos: A Space Time Odyssey and discuss why ABC’s Resurrection might be the exception to the rule when it comes to remakes of original european shows… all this a whole load more on another absolutely stuffed TV DumpCAST.
