Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth are the 5 elements which this whole physical world is made up of. If this seems illogical or exaggeration , then listen to this episode. These elements are called the Panch Tatva or the Panch Mahabhuta. They are the last elements of creation in the process of the manifestation of Prakriti. They give this world the properties of perception which we call the tanamatras. The most important part to know is that they evolve from Ahamkara which is incorrectly understood as ego.
