As we prepare for the 4th of July, nothing is as American as popcorn, carrot cake, mezcal, fried chicken feet, and edible insects. We explore the bizarre world of clear toilets and transparent bathrooms that only become opaque once you enter them, and the problems that could cause if their technology fails. We also tell the cautionary tales of what happens when you don't reach your porcelain destination in time. The Spark Brothers movie review led to a discussion of how we haven't noticed a band with 25 albums and then shifted to which Go-Go has aged the best. Air hand dryers and auto-flush toilets were discussed, along with bathroom tech that has hopefully gone by the wayside in favor of more sanitary options.
