Ochozias was the son of a daughter of Ahab and because she was his counsellor, she raised him to do evil as the house of Ahab. So God sent Jehu to slay Joram king of Israel and Ochozias king of Juda. And Gotholia, upon hearing of her son's death, slew all the king's sons except the youngest who was secreted away. And she reigned over Juda.
