Fantasy Baseball Live – June 23, 2024
Segments 1 and 2 – Review the games of the weekend
Additional Questions:
1.Let'sx dive into the topic of the NL MVP race. Is Shohei Ontani running away with it? He has 23 home runs, 16 SB, and a .321 batting average. He’s leading the NL in WAR at 4.2 with no defensive help. Next in line is Harper at 3.4.
a.BTW, Gunnar Henderson and Aaron Judge are in quite a duel for the best player in the AL. Gunnar at 5.2 WAR and Judge at 5.2. Judge has 28 home runs, but Gunnar is not far behind at 24. Who wins the AL MVP?
2.Giancarlos Stanton left the game with tightness in his hamstring. And so it begins. Any idea who gets the playing time?
3.Zach Neto is having a breakout season and left last night's game with a strained calf. If he has to go on the IL, who is the pickup?
4.With the huge correction happening with Imanaga. I mean, brutal! Is the favorite for ROY leading to Jackson Merrill? He has 10 home runs, 9 stolen bases, and is hitting .290. Maybe Masyn Winn should get some consideration.
5.Tyler Soderstrom with another home run. Is it time for people to jump on the train?
6.Ryan Bliss was one of my sleepers entering the season. What do you think so far of his performance? He now has both SS and 2B eligibility.
7.Jon Gray has had quite the resurgence this season. He’s pitching to a 3.03 ERA, but his xERA is 4.28 with one of the highest exit velo against in the league. Is he a sell high?
8.Drew Thorpe looked good on Saturday. Are you ready to trust him beyond the Tigers of the league?
9.Carlos Rodon pitched terribly on Friday and was seen crying in the dugout. Is that a good thing or bad thing?
