Non so voi, ma quando io mi trovo in macchina nel sedile del passeggero, soprattutto se stiamo percorrendo una strada extraurbana, ancora di più se è di notte, mi vedo costretta a rimanere sveglia, con gli occhi puntati verso la strada per assicurarmi che non succeda niente.

È una cosa incredibilmente irrazionale, che non ha niente a che vedere con la capacità di guida della persona che sta guidando. La notte scorsa, ad esempio, tornavamo a Cagliari dopo una gita nel nord della Sardegna, quindi quasi 300 km, e mio marito è un provetto guidatore. Ha fatto un sacco di rally sia come driver che come navigatore, adesso non corre più nei rally, dico io per fortuna però fa il training alle persone che guidano i mezzi di emergenza, quindi non c'è nessun motivo al mondo perché io debba rimanere con gli occhi puntati sulla strada per assicurarmi che non succeda niente. Devo dire poi che, per quanto riguarda l'andare in auto di notte, questo è un altro grosso problema che io perché da astigmatica vedo malissimo la notte anche quando gli occhiali, che comunque correggono questo difetto alla vista, però ho veramente grosse difficoltà a orientarmi a guardare avanti, o forse è anche una cosa un po' psicologica, perché in generale, non mi piace tantissimo andare nelle strade extraurbane la notte.

Comunque ieri notte abbiamo fatto questo lungo viaggio, molto bello perché c'era poco traffico, perché a nessuno fa piacere guidare la notte di domenica alle dieci tardi, quando c'è buio, quindi le strade erano completamente sgombre, si vedeva ogni tanto qualche auto che o ci superavo si lasciava superare oppure veniva nella corsia opposta, e c'era una bellissima luna che, stranamente, quando abbiamo iniziato il viaggio cominciato a far buio era molto in alto e poi quando siamo praticamente arrivati a casa era molto in basso. Quindi questa cosa qua ancora non l'ho capita perché pensavo che la luna la notte sorgesse, però vabbè, mi informo.
