We start a new series this week on "hearing"! So to start off, we'll use the prophet Micah's self-talk, "My God will hear me." We'll use his words for our breath prayer and silence today. Listen in for encouragement on slowing yourself down and using your breath to quiet your body putting it in greater alignment for time in God's presence. Then you'll use Micah's self-talk from Micah 7:7 to encourage yourself that God can be trusted to hear you and act. He recorded his self-talk during a time of chaos and confusion, a time when no one could be trusted, not even members of one's own household. Follow his lead and speak of your confidence in God, then take your deepest, most intimate thoughts to the One who alone can be trusted!
