Happy Wednesday. We will have a lot of fun today and I gotta get past the first part, which might, you know, they might bore you just a little bit, but I'm setting the stage. I wanna lead you on a journey and yes, I'm gonna talk a little bit about my first job, my personal pay zone. What's that you're gonna see? I promise to make it more exciting as we get through this, but let me set the foundation. So here we go. Are you ready? This is a pretty simple one. My first job I delivered newspapers. Actually, I delivered the morning paper and the Herkimer Evening Telegram.
Believe me, I didn't enjoy it. It was fun riding my bicycle around all time, but you know with delivering the morning paper I'd have to get up at around 4:30 AM and put all the papers together and then deliver 'em. And I had a pretty good size paper route, but what I found that I enjoyed the most is I could do that and still have my entire day available to me. Well, at least untill about three o'clock when the evening telegram would show up. I didn't keep that job for long, the morning route I would do off and on. And then I had a couple friends and we would we'd share the route because it can wear you down. But we were paid based on the number of subscribers. So that was my first performance-based job. Right? A pretty simple one, the more people I got to subscribe to the papers, the more money I made, it just wasn't a whole lot of money.
