🏈 🚲⚽️🏒Since 2011, Virginia Tech researchers have been providing unbiased helmet ratings that allow consumers to make informed decisions when purchasing helmets. The helmet ratings are the culmination of over a decade of research identifying which helmets best reduce concussion risk. This work is done as part of Virginia Tech’s service mission and is 100% independent of any funding or influence from helmet manufacturers. Please visit the Virginia Tech helmet lab website at bit.ly/VirginiaTechHelmets and spread the word to aide in lowering concussion risk in your community 🏇⚾️🥎

Kelsey Bryk, PhD is a proud Canadian who recently completed her PhD at the University of Delaware. She has been interested in the brain since she was 16, but became interested in concussions after watching professional hockey, and suffering from a few concussions playing soccer, and went on to complete a bachelors with honours and a masters on concussion research. Her dissertation research examined the neurophysiological health of adults over the age of 25 who suffer from persistent concussion symptoms by using various high-tech and clinically feasible objective measures.
