Today's episode comes as a result of an argument I had with my husband over New Year's Eve. Let me share with you what I learned about arguments in marriage and how your can grow closer when you argue, or not.

I was hurt and angry and frustrated with him and the situation. But as I processed my emotions and my thoughts I came to a few realizations.

1. Arguments are great!!!
They bring out your beliefs, your spouse's beliefs and things that you have been avoiding to talk about for months so you can finally address them. You know, the topics that you rather not bring out to avoid "rocking the boat" (A.K.A money, sex, parenting, religion, etc.)

2. Arguments can bring you closer together.
You can use this opportunity to grow closer as you love, and validate the other person and HOLD SPACE for their feelings.

3. Arguments lead to growth.
Looking back I was able to notice areas where I need to improve and areas where I am doing great!
