Brief Summary & Bio:
Today’s guest is a digestive health expert here to help us understand the 5-stages of digestion, why digestive enzymes are so important, how to know if you need to supplement with HCL like I do (because it’s actually quite common to be low in stomach acid).
Wade Lightheart is the Co-Founder and President at BiOptimizers, a digestive and health optimization company. He’s been in the health industry for over 25 years. He’s a 3-Time Canadian national All Natural Bodybuilding Champion who competed as a vegetarian (which had never been done before and he tried it as sort of a self-experiment), he’s also a former Mr. Universe Competitor and host of The Awesome Health podcast. Having majored in Sports Science at the University of New Brunswick, Wade has authored numerous books on health, nutrition, and exercise which have been sold in over 80 countries.
