Ro: Ninsoarea acoperea pământul, transformând peisajul într-un basm de iarnă.
En: The snow covered the ground, transforming the landscape into a winter fairy tale.

Ro: Gabriel, medic de profesie, se pregătea să petreacă Crăciunul Ortodox, pe 7 ianuarie, alături de familia sa în marea casă de la țară.
En: Gabriel, a doctor by profession, was preparing to spend the Orthodox Christmas on January 7th with his family in the large house in the countryside.

Ro: Casa era împodobită festiv, setiap pernuța și fiecare fereastră avea steluțe și lumini colorate.

Ro: Elena, soția sa, era ocupată în bucătărie, pregătind bucate tradiționale românești: sarmale, cozonaci și pulpă de miel.
