De: Hans auf dem Oktoberfest Hans kam auf das Oktoberfest.
En: Hans at the Oktoberfest Hans came to the Oktoberfest.

De: Er liebt das Oktoberfest.
En: He loves Oktoberfest.

De: Überall hörte er Musik und Leute lachten und sangen.
En: Everywhere he heard music and people laughed and sang.

De: Hans beschloss, zehn Krüge Bier auf einmal zu tragen.
En: Hans decided to carry ten mugs of beer at a time.

De: "Ich werde der stärkste Mann hier sein!
En: "I'll be the strongest man here!"

De: ", dachte Hans.
En: thought Hans.

De: Er nahm zehn volle Krüge und hob sie hoch.
En: He took ten full pitchers and lifted them up.

De: Es war schwer, aber er trug sie ein paar Schritte.
En: It was heavy, but he carried her a few steps.

De: Aber dann passierte es: Hans verlor die Kontrolle und Bier spritzte in alle Richtungen.
En: But then it happened: Hans lost control and beer sprayed in all directions.

De: Die Leute lachten und Hans fühlte sich sehr dumm.
En: People laughed and Hans felt very stupid.

De: Aber er lachte auch und kaufte noch mehr Bier.
En: But he also laughed and bought more beer.

De: Sabine auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt Sabine ging zum Weihnachtsmarkt.
En: Sabine at the Christmas market Sabine went to the Christmas market.

De: Sie trug einen schönen Schal, den ihr ihre Mutter gegeben hatte.
En: She wore a beautiful scarf that her mother had given her.

De: Der Duft von gerösteten Kastanien und gebrannten Mandeln füllte die Luft.
En: The smell of roasted chestnuts and roasted almonds filled the air.

De: Sabine kaufte eine Tüte mit Kastanien und warf eine in ihren Mund.
En: Sabine bought a bag of chestnuts and popped one in her mouth.

De: Aber dann blieb ihr Schal in einer Kastanie hängen und Sabine konnte sich nicht befreien.
En: But then her scarf got caught in a chestnut and Sabine couldn't free herself.

De: Sie dachte, sie würde den Schal verlieren.
En: She thought she was going to lose the scarf.

De: Plötzlich kam ein freundlicher Fremder und half ihr.
En: Suddenly a friendly stranger came and helped her.

De: Er entwirrte den Schal und Sabine bedankte sich.
En: He unraveled the scarf and Sabine thanked him.

De: "Ich werde nie wieder während des Essens meinen Schal tragen", dachte Sabine und sie kaufte noch ein paar Kastanien.
En: "I'll never wear my scarf during dinner again," thought Sabine, and she bought a few more chestnuts.

De: Fritz im Fußballstadion Fritz war im Fußballstadion.
En: Fritz in the football stadium Fritz was in the football stadium.

De: Er betete für seine Lieblingsmannschaft und hatte sein Gesicht in ihren Farben geschminkt.
En: He prayed for his favorite team and had his face painted in their colors.

De: Die Menschen um ihn herum waren sehr laut und es gab Fahnen und Trommeln und Sirenen.
En: The people around him were very loud and there were flags and drums and sirens.

De: Plötzlich kam eine Gruppe von Fans und fragte Fritz, ob er ihr Anführer sein wollte.
En: Suddenly a group of fans came and asked Fritz if he wanted to be their leader.

De: Fritz sagte ja und begann einen urkomischen Song, der schnell durch das ganze Stadion ging.
En: Fritz said yes and started a hilarious song that quickly went around the stadium.

De: Die Leute tanzten und sangen und waren so glücklich.
En: People danced and sang and were so happy.

De: Fritz musste lachen und er war froh, dass er hier war.
En: Fritz had to laugh and he was glad that he was here.

De: "Es ist so schön, Teil einer Gemeinschaft zu sein", dachte Fritz und sang weiter.
En: "It's so nice to be part of a community," thought Fritz and continued to sing.

De: Am Ende kehrten Hans, Sabine und Fritz nach Hause zurück, aber sie waren glücklich und erfüllt von ihren Abenteuern.
En: In the end Hans, Sabine and Fritz returned home but they were happy and filled with their adventures.

De: Sie wussten, dass es immer etwas gibt, auf das man sich freuen kann.
En: They knew that there is always something to look forward to.
