This weeks podcast is with a Canadian Junior Elite triathlete, Alexe Coursol, . Alexe was the 2019 Canadian junior champion, competed at the 2019 world championships in Lausanne Switzerland and has numerous continental cup top 10 finishes. The first time I met Alexe was the week before racing at the youth Olympic qualifying race is Salinas Ecuador. What happened that week I think really epitomizes Alexe and what she talks about in the interview. 2 days out from racing Alexe got food poisoning and obviously, very sick. However, no excuses were made and she put together an impressive race. During this episode Alexe had some really interesting insights and athlete or not there is something to take aways and apply to your everyday life. The focus and view on long-term development and successes Alexe has is something that I really appreciated.
