you ever woke up felt like shit and so you decide to push the snooze button, you think no harm in rolling back over and daydreaming about....good ol whoopi goldberg....hey...
show morein rolling back over and daydreaming about....good ol whoopi goldberg....hey don't judge me, its 2022 man it's all good
THIS IS THE BETTER MAN CHANNEL, where we aim to overcome the snooze button fad of entitlement and the whoopi goldbergs of life
a study in 2014...god that's forever ago, but i didn't feel like digging any deeper, much like the left and their research
so forgive me ...but the study revealed that 57% of americans hit the snooze button....
and it makes me wonder, as laziness and entitlement has surely only progressed through time, has the snooze button craze only worsened...
let's think about our grandpas and maybe even our great grandpas. you think they hit the snooze button.
was crawling back into bed an option. did ol great great grandpa even have an alarm clock or did the roosters crow and the sun
jerk him from bed. or hell maybe his own integrity nudged him onwards,.. maybe his duty to responsibility.... his code and his honor
all those characteristics that are noticeably missing from modern times and modern men hell i'm just now discovering what they truly mean
in my life... in these soft times, these so called good times, why is it so easy to dismiss the duties and replace them with an eagerness to be
labeled, depressed, bipolar or any of the myriad so called disorders that run rampant in this big pharma age, oh wait did i call
big pharma a greedy and evil bitch...i guess so...and you ask what the hell does this have to do with depression, i clicked to on the
video to get a cure you say, well the snooze button of life is both the poison and the antidote....lets for a minute suggest that
depression is merely an excuse to forego your responsibilties...think about it..ohh she broke my heart, so fuck life ill lay in bed for a
week and maybe the world will disappear....ever been there or know of someone in those shoes....horrible place to be, a weak place to be
1st of all lets explore your pain,, why the hell are you upset...any ideas...i believe were upset and get upset
'because we attach ourselves to the
memories 0f what WAS good, fuck them trips down memory lane get us everytime...seneca said every trip down memory lane comes with a sting.
and why is that,,,,well because its no longer the past, the past is over, and we only trip up on past memories because they are better
than the present...we go back to the past because it feels better than how we feel now
think about it, if you have a better gf now, or a better job now, or a better life now,
the past is the last place you go camp
out ....because the hell with that old life right!!! and so the reason we stay stuck in the snooze button of depression
is that for some illogical and emotional reason...Dam you feminism...WE come to believe that the future can never be better than
the past. dude... from personal experience, depression is a fucking liar...life gets better becasue we choose to make it better.
life gets worse because we allow it too...and so how do we tie this into the roosters crow and dawning days of grandpas past.......
those men worked hard, they didn't have time to be depressed because they chose to make life good..
...now don't get me wrong, challenges do come, breakups, deaths and just plain ol shitty days,,,,of course....but bad days are not here
to strap you in the straitjacket of life...i dont give a shit what big pharma or your therapist tells you...bad days
bad moments, bad thoughts are only a sign post directing you to do something better, they are not there to post up and start swimming
in misery...she broke up with you, that feeling isn't there to stomp you out, it's there to say, hey that makes you feel like shit
so don't stick around in it, go get a new feeling...you say well easier said than done...and yeah at first until we train ourselves to
see everyday, every thought, and every opportunity as a damn ladder to step up to something better...for generations we've been taught
to be weak....im the biggest metaphorical snooze button pressing idiot of them all...this generation needs to see men rise with the sun
figuratively or literally whichever works for you...i said earlier the snooze button is both the poison and the antidote.
it becoems our redmedy our motivation
when weset the alarm to wake us up for more, fuick depression, fuck entitlement, fuck weakness
and fuck the lies. we are men, and at some point in life we start loving the hard days like the stoics we start loving our fate
because its ours and we accept the duty to own our life and not let it pass away because we didn't feel up to it
57% of people push the snooze button and its estimated that those people waste 3 1/2 months of their life on the snooze
depression is real, but its merely an excuse to hide from better days.
emotions are meant to guide you not enslave you
