Pacific Justice Institute’s (PJI) founder Brad Dacus says, we have a 2nd Amendment right to arm yourself. We don’t have a right to buy lettuce or lumber. Choosing to allow pot shops to be open vs. closing gun shops is a reflection of political ideology of those making the rules.
In times of immediate imminent peril, the government can take drastic actions. But it can’t last indefinitely. The longer it goes on, the more questionable the “immediate” requirement becomes.
