Actress Arischa Conner will join me in The Locher Room to discuss her two latest roles: ‘Players’ available to stream in full on Paramount+ and ‘Mike’ which premiered in late August on Hulu.

Arischa made her original streaming acting debut last year with two critically-acclaimed shows premiering in the same month. In mid-October 2021, she started with Hulu’s ‘Dopesick,’ the Emmy-nominated and highly decorated limited series about the opioid pandemic. Toward the end of the month, she starred in the critically-acclaimed AppleTV+ sports-drama ‘Swagger,’a show loosely based on Kevin Durant’s years as a youth basketball player.

Arischa is a Black girl nerd at heart, which is one of the primary reasons she wanted to be a part of ‘Players.’ Her favorite movie genre is action, especially superhero movies. A diehard ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ fan, she hopes to one day star in the movie franchise.

As Arischa's star continues to rise, she, more than anything, wants other actors and entertainers (especially women of color) to know that their dreams can come true too. Breaking through at 50 years of age, she is also living proof that age does not define success.
