KGO sports anchor Mike Shumann is the CLOWN OF THE DAY after being caught on camera stealing a jacket that belonged to the Golden State Warriors director of team security- Ralph Walker!
After the Warriors’ series-clinching Game 5 win over the Spurs, Draymond Green became the first member of the Golden State organization to weigh in publicly on news that.
“We’ve got a great security staff,” Green said. “They did their stuff and found out what happened. It’s unfortunate because what it boils down to, it’s a jacket. But I think more so it’s the principle. You’re in your own space. You want to return to your own jacket. If I have a dollar sitting here, a dollar’s a dollar. But it’s my dollar. I wouldn’t expect no one to take it. We’ve got a great front office, and a great media-public relations staff. They’ll figure it all out.”
The video appears to show Shumann taking Ralph Walker's jacket after Warriors practice in San Antonio last week. After learning of the incident, KGO sent Shumann home. It is in the process of investigating the matter.
Per ESPN, some players are now refusing to do interviews with KGO.
