SoCal Gas plans to increase rates in 2024 with costs already threatening restaurant closures. The United States has billions of dollars allocated to wind and solar projects, but it has overwhelmed the system already with connections to new power sources for homes and businesses. And as malls in Orange County turn into ghost towns, the idea of repurposing them into apartments comes into play.
