Tens of thousands of people are getting data breach alerts as two US banks were forced to announce security lapses, potentially leaking clients' information. The Main Attorney General's office says USAA Bank and the Bank of Clarke have been alerting their involved clients. This is just another of several leaks coming from the banking sector, prompting many to wonder not only if their money is safe, but what about their important private information? Sometimes, the information is not stolen by financial institutions, but sold -- like what allegedly happened with Capital One Bank, which is accused of sending customers' private information to companies like Google and Microsoft.
