As controversial as the term Black Liberation Theology sounds, it is a message, a teaching, and a lifestyle of deliverance for the black community of believers.
We are going to decolonize our faith from this weaponized image and ideology of white Jesus, white supremacy religious doctrine in the form of white nationalism, and whitewashing christianity.
Christianity is not the white man's religion, nor is the Bible the white man's book.
When we learn that religion can be manipulated to destroy a people our eyes will be open to truth.
The truth is our genesis came from Africa.
The truth is that people will give you religion to control you, but never truth to free you.
The spirit of the bible and the revelation of the bible is one of freedom.
Black Liberation Theology embraces that freedom and shows us ourselves as God sees us unapologetically black and unapologetically free embracing our black culture and not codling nor protecting the idol of whiteness.
