Description
Today we continue studying Chapter 14 from the Book of Revelation. In this episode we read that John said "Blessed are those which die in the Lord from henceforth. "...
show moreBlessed means, happy, fortunate, and well off. Only those who die in Christ are happy, fortunate and well off in the future. From Henceforth means, since Christ died and rose from the grave, those who believe in Him will not taste death. They will not die because Jesus tasted death for every man.
Taste means experience, therefore since Jesus died and rose from the grave, those believing in Him shall not taste death.
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Jesus said to the thief on the cross, in Luke chapter 23 verse 43 “Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
Those who believe in Christ, will get a chance to eat from the tree of life!
In Revelation chapter 2 verse 7 Jesus said, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
But those who believe Satan's lies about God and His Son will forfeit their second and last chance to eat from the Tree of Life.
We also note the Final Harvest begins with the command to thrust the sickle into the earth and reap for it is ripe, it is ripe with sin and it is time for God to gather in the wheat and the tares.
The tares are the children of the wicked one and the wheat are the children of God. Both have a final destination. The wheat go to be with Christ and the tares are bound and tossed into the Valley of Hinnom. It all Depends on a persons choice to believe the word of God is true or to believe Satan's word, which declines the truth of Gods word. Adam and Eve believed Satan's lie, now we all die. If we believe his His lies again, if we believe him a second time we will experience the second death. The second death isn't temporary, it is permanent.
It's a personal choice that only you can make.
