In today’s episode, Gail and Marie discuss Viagers. ‘Viager’ comes from the old French word ‘viage,’ which means 'duration of life.’ This is a unique way to buy and sell a property in France. The closest translation we have in English would be 'life annuity property'... It may sound a bit creepy, but you buy a property and wait for the person to die!
