Etapa 19 de este Tour de Francia 2024, en una nueva jornada de montaña está si que sí, pura pero que pura montaña!!! y esque ibamos desde EMBRUN  hasta ISOLA 2000. Recorrido corto de solo 144,6 kilometros pero muy exigente. Y esque en este trayecto los corredores acumulaban 4.400 desnivel positivo.  

Etapa en la que tras formarse una fuga muy numerosa de en torno a 22 corredores, posteriormente se seleccionaría en 10. En ella veíamos a un muy combativo Richard Carapaz que coronaba el primer puerto puntuable al igual que el puerto de LA BONETTE.  

De esta manera el corredor ecuatoriano conseguia al final de la jornada el maillot de la montaña, siendo el mejor emplazado de esa clasificación.  

Día donde Tadej Pogacar ha dado un golpe definitivo para conseguir su tercer Tour de Francia, mostrándose muy superior al resto e incluso superior a su yo mismo de años anteriores.  

En un día donde recordamos el gran triunfo de Bernal.  

Mañana penúltima etapa del Tour de Francia. Etapa número 20 donde contaremos con otro etapón de montaña que nos llevará desde NIZA al COL DE LA COUILLOLE, por delante 132,8 kilometros y 4.600 metros de desnivel positivo.

Stage 19 of the Tour de France 2024, another mountain stage, pure mountain indeed! We went from EMBRUN to ISOLA 2000. A short route of only 144.6 kilometers but very demanding. The riders accumulated 4,400 meters of positive elevation gain during this journey.  

In this stage, after a large breakaway of around 22 riders formed, it was later whittled down to 10. We saw a very combative Richard Carapaz, who crested the first categorized climb as well as the Col de la Bonette.  

As a result, the Ecuadorian rider secured the polka dot jersey at the end of the day, becoming the best-placed rider in that classification.  

It was a day where Tadej Pogacar delivered a decisive blow to secure his third Tour de France, showing himself to be far superior to the rest and even surpassing his own performances from previous years.   On a day where we were reminded of Bernal's great triumph.  

Tomorrow is the penultimate stage of the Tour de France. Stage number 20 will be another mountain epic that will take us from NICE to COL DE LA COUILLOLE, with 132.8 kilometers ahead and 4,600 meters of positive elevation gain.
