On this edition of Protected Speech, Ravi Kapur and Jonathan Choe discuss the challenges facing all journalists in getting public officials to the table when one is not considered an "ally." Choe breaks down his confrontation in Kirkland, Washington when some PR people tried to block him from attending a press conference he already received permission to attend. Meanwhile, fentanyl fumes are making making King County, Washington bus drivers sick. But some doctors say it's not a big deal. The loyalty of an Asian American member of Congress is being called into question by another member of Congress. Is the criticism xenophobic or justified? India hosts the G20, but the Ukraine conflict continues to be a main dividing line globally. And Stop AAPI Hate Co-founder Manju Kulkarni stops by to explain what it will take to quell the violence.
