Patrick Bird is a Sr. Manager of Scientific Affairs at bioMérieux, collaborating with industry and regulatory agencies to develop and advance science-based standards and regulations. Pat has 18+ years’ experience in the validation of microbiology analytical test methods coordinating more than a 100 validations studies following AOAC, ISO, Health Canada and EPA validation guidelines. Pat served as the primary author for the microbiology chapter (Laboratory Safety and Compliance Testing for Microorganism Contamination) in the Cannabis Laboratory Fundamentals textbook and has presented numerous webinars and at scientific conferences on microbiology validation for the food and cannabis industries. https://www.biomerieux.com/
Richard "Rico" Steinhart had worked to legalize marijuana in 70s. He went on to become a marketer and consultant for 3 CBD hemp companies. He is the leader of The Bunker Boys band wrote and copyrighted a song released this year, “Jerry’s Band.” https://www.cbdunlimited.com/
