A series of dramatic events led me to the creation of this blog; the realization of my husband’s long-term affair, my mother’s untimely death the same week, the explosion of all of my hopes and dreams for the future and the loss of life like I knew it. I tried to imagine a life outside of love and marriage but had a hard time envisioning outside of the traditional stereotype. So I did what ever newly single woman does when she doesn’t know something, I googled it. Upon first browse, I was met with information like “How to Find a Guy in 10 Days” or “How to Find Love Again”. I knew that love wasn’t enough to make me happy. And so I went on a personal quest to rediscover myself and explore the new things that could create happiness within me.
