show moreChaos and stress seem to be omnipresent especially during the world wide health crisis called the Covid-19 Pandemic. We're worried about our families, health, security, success, and how we show up in the world. One chaos crisis seems to follow another, and we're starting to get addicted to it. Our brain chemistry can change as we push ourselves to 'take on' more and more things without giving our bodies and minds a chance to recover.. Over production of cortizol and adrenaline can lead to chronic stress which ultimate throws major body systems out of whack.

When was the last time you took a deep breath, or went for a walk to clear your head? (Hint: it probably hasn't been in the last hour, so go ahead and take a deep breath now.)
Knowing there are methods to creating calm, and choosing to follow through are two completely different things. Choice is what gives us our power and our identity. It's also the mechanism to help us find and activate the calm within ourselves.
