Some have claimed that the church is a temporary parenthetical arrangement for a future end time. In this future end time Zionist Israel will allegedly rise to be the supreme power of the world and rule the nations.

According to Dr. Thomas Ice, of the Pre-TribResearch Center in his video on the "Rapture of the Church" (see on YouTube), he said in order to fulfill the promises of God the church must first be removed from the world for Israel to become the head and rule over the nations. Dr. Ice claimed this would occur during the period called the Millennium.

In addition to ruling the nations, he asserted that the modern Israeli nation would have to first be converted to Christ. In other words, they would have to become Christians so they can replace Christians and rule the world currently being ruled by Christians! Thus view assumes that Christians walk in darkness and therefore must be removed for Israel's light to shine in the world.

Many nations surrounding Israel feel the tiny nation is a dark spot in their horizon, responsible for the lack of peace in the area. Our focus is to show what God has ordained for Christ and the church and allow the listener to decide what, if any role, the Israelis had or have in the plan of God.
