After surviving three weeks in intensive care with meningitis as a nine years old child, Cornelius shocked the World of amateur boxing when at just seventeen he came tantalisingly close to defeating Olympic and Commonwealth star Rod Douglas. Selected as a main sparring partner for boxing legend Roy Jones Jr Carr would go on to win British and World titles. Cornelius's incredible life journey is due to be released as a book soon.
