North America is most likely not the first continent that springs to mind when you hear the word mythology, but the indigenous peoples of North America have a great many rich and beautiful mythological stories. Today, we’ll get a taste of those mythological traditions by looking at the Ojibway creation story of the Sky Woman and the Great Turtle. Our dessert course is a sampling of turtles and tricksters found in stories throughout history and from around the globe.
