Have you ever wondered how the concept of marriage has become so misunderstood? Marriage is the most important decision you will ever make, aside from your decision for salvation.
If God does not force you to accept and to choose His Son, Jesus; a choice that would determine your life and the life after. Why do we think that He would choose or force us to choose our mates?
God sets the standards for us to measure ourselves and our future mates by, but it's ultimately our choice. Once we make that choice, there are also standards to regulate that relationship so that it will reflect The Kingdom of God on the earth.
