Today, I’m thinking of Crystal Gayle and Eddie Rabbitt, and their duet “ You and I”. It was a song that made it to number one on the U.S. Billboard Country chart for week. On the Billboard Hot 100, the song spent 29 weeks on the chart, peaking at number 7 and making it the 12th biggest song of the year.

A song like that can put you in a romance mood. It was released in 1982 as the first single from Rabbit’s eighth studio album. “ You.and I became a major country pop crossover hit for both artists.

What a beautiful duet. We need more love songs like that today. EddIe Rabbit and Crystal Gayle sound beautiful together. They made a classic song. A song for lovers. Eddie and Crystal made beautiful harmony.

Whenever I saw them singing together, they would sing the song as if they had that kind of relationship. Eddie and Crystal made the song sound emotional.
