In the fifth episode of Radio Tour de France, we speak about doping! It’s a dark page in cyclings’ history, and still journalists and fans keep discussing whether this sport can be ‘clean’ at all. 
We talk about the basic questions first: what is doping, who decides what is on ‘the doping list’, and how are athletes tested? Then, we speak about the most infamous episodes in the history of cycling, and how we see the state of doping in the contemporary peloton.

For the first time in history, the Tour de France starts in Italy - and Le Grand Depárt is from our beautiful Firenze. To make sure that you can enjoy this special cycling occasion, you can listen this summer to Radio Tour de France, which is produced in the studio of Radio Cavolo. 

We, a group of “ciclisti amatoriali”, will discuss the basics of cycling, the history of the Tour de France and we will dive into this year’s edition.
