Jacqueline Paul-Okyere Benya, LMHC
Founder & Owner of Embrace Therapy & Consultation
Jacqueline Paul-Okyere Benya is a Black identifying therapist who is passionate about serving marginalized communities. It is often in these communities people have suffered through systemic oppression and have their voices stifled or overlooked. Jacqueline creates a space that provides validation, advocacy, safety, and empowerment to help individuals and families find their voice and power toward being their most unapologetic self.
Through the use of evidence-based practices such as Multisystemic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, Jacqueline has effectively been able to build meaningful relationships in which she advocates, empowers, and promotes healing. Her approach is integrative and multicultural.
Jacqueline obtained her BA and MA from CUNY City College. She has devoted the past 7 years in service of youth, families, and individuals with co-occurring disorders such as substance use, depression, and anxiety.
