Story Transcript:

Ro: Într-o zi însorită de primăvară, Gabriel a decis să se plimbe pe străzile vechi și încurcate ale Bucureștiului.
En: On a sunny spring day, Gabriel decided to wander through the old and winding streets of Bucharest.

Ro: Curios și aventuros, el s-a alăturat unui grup de turiști care păreau să știe încotro merg.
En: Curious and adventurous, he joined a group of tourists who seemed to know where they were going.

Ro: Gabriel era un băiat deștept, dar străzile Bucureștiului erau ca un labirint pentru el.
En: Gabriel was a smart boy, but the streets of Bucharest were like a maze to him.

Ro: Pe măsură ce mergeau, grupul de turiști a fost tot mai atras de frumusețile orașului, iar Gabriel, absent, s-a trezit brusc singur.
En: As they walked, the group of tourists became more and more attracted to the city's beauties, and Gabriel, distracted, suddenly found himself alone.

Ro: Nu își dăduse seama când îl pierduse din vedere pe Andrei, prietenul său cel mai bun, sau pe Maria, sora lui Andrei, pe care Gabriel o admira încă de când era mic.
En: He hadn't realized when he lost sight of Andrei, his best friend, or of Maria, Andrei's sister, whom Gabriel had admired since he was little.

Ro: Cu harta orașului în mână, Gabriel a încercat să își găsească drumul înapoi.
En: With the city map in hand, Gabriel tried to find his way back.

Ro: Dar hărțile nu sunt de mare ajutor când fiecare stradă pare a fi copia celeilalte, și Gabriel s-a pierdut încă și mai tare.
En: But maps are not much help when every street seems to be a copy of the other, and Gabriel got even more lost.

Ro: Deodată, muzica a început să răsune dinspre o piață apropiată.
En: Suddenly, music began to resonate from a nearby square.

Ro: Curios, Gabriel a urmat sunetul și dintr-o dată a dat peste o scenă neașteptată: o trupă de dansatori de stradă care își etalau mișcările ritmice, învârtindu-se și sărind în aer sub privirile încântate ale trecătorilor.
En: Curious, Gabriel followed the sound and suddenly came across an unexpected scene: a group of street dancers showcasing their rhythmic movements, spinning and jumping in the air under the enchanted gazes of passersby.

Ro: În loc să fie îngrijorat, Gabriel a simțit o adiere de libertate.
En: Rather than feeling worried, Gabriel felt a sense of freedom.

Ro: Uitând de toate grijile, s-a lăsat purtat de muzică și, în scurt timp, a început să danseze și el.
En: Forgetting all his worries, he let himself be carried away by the music and, before long, he began to dance too.

Ro: Mișcările lui erau stângace la început, dar dansatorii de stradă l-au încurajat.
En: His moves were clumsy at first, but the street dancers encouraged him.

Ro: Trecându-și rapid rușinea, Gabriel a dansat cu mai multă încredere, râzând și bucurându-se de moment.
En: Quickly pushing aside his embarrassment, Gabriel danced with more confidence, laughing and enjoying the moment.

Ro: În timp ce dansa, ochii plini de viață ai unei fete l-au făcut să se oprească în loc.
En: As he danced, the lively eyes of a girl made him stop in his tracks.

Ro: Era Maria!
En: It was Maria!

Ro: Ea și Andrei îl căutaseră și, auzind muzica, s-au gândit că ar putea-l găsi acolo.
En: She and Andrei had been looking for him and, hearing the music, had thought they might find him there.

Ro: Maria îl privea pe Gabriel cu un zâmbet larg și îl încuraja să continue.
En: Maria looked at Gabriel with a wide smile and encouraged him to continue.

Ro: Andrei bătea din palme și se amuza de situația neașteptată.
En: Andrei clapped his hands and amused himself with the unexpected situation.

Ro: Împreună, toți trei au dansat și au râs până când soarele a început să apună.
En: Together, all three danced and laughed until the sun began to set.

Ro: După ce dansul s-a încheiat, Gabriel a realizat că acea zi memorabilă nu ar fi fost posibilă dacă nu s-ar fi rătăcit.
En: After the dance ended, Gabriel realized that that memorable day wouldn't have been possible if he hadn't gotten lost.
