Today's advent challenge from Writer's HQ involved taking a concept or idea and breaking the concept down with a mixture of "why" questions and answers. I rewrote this challenge a couple of times, not really happy with either direction.
Words started to rhyme so I let it flow and pushed out a poem. The poem that came out from this challenge questions a friend we are born with; a friend that stays with us until the very end and beyond: our shadow.
