Why do we think the things we think? Are our thoughts solely around our own lives, or are we thinking more broadly? Doug opines on two great hallmarks of our life – the beginning of the industrial revolution and the computer age. Think about it, the Wright brothers invented, built and flew the world’s first heavier-than-air aircraft in 1903 . . . 66 years later, in 1969, Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. In the news, Blackstone Group hit their goal of hiring 100,000 veterans! This is great news but also raises the question of why it’s so difficult for our veterans to find work after their service. The 9 year old boy injured in the Astroworld chaos has succumbed to his injuries, raising the death toll of the tragic concert to 10 victims.
