Okno jest czymś więcej niż prostym połączeniem wnętrza ze światem zewnętrznym. Elementem, który historycznie chronił nas przed niebezpieczeństwem dzikiego otoczenia, przed tą drugą stroną świata. Na początku okna były mala szczelina, która wpuszczała światło, a wypuszcza strzały. Rola ewoluowała zgodnie z potrzebami człowieka. Był okres, gdzie za ten prosty otwór trzeba było płacić słone podatki, stał się symbolem statusu i dosłownym wymiernikiem bogactwa dla każdego przechodnia. Jaką rolę mają współczesne okna, w świecie gdzie każda strona świata i wysokość piętra jest na miarę wyceny.

The window is more than a simple connection between the inside and the outside world. An element that has historically protected us from the danger of the wilderness, from the other side of the world. In the beginning, windows were a tiny gap that let in light and let out arrows. The role evolved according to human needs. There was a period where heavy taxes had to be paid for this simple opening, it became a status symbol and a literal measure of wealth for any passer-by. What role do windows have today, in a world where every side of the world and floor height is up for valuation.
