Sam & Richey were champing at the bit for this week's hang-out! 1984 IMSA GT Champion, 1986 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year, drug trafficker, and author, Randy Lanier joined the Lounge this week!

The conversation has no direct path towards the end of the show, but it wanders through various topics! Hearing the Indy 500 for the first time, DRIVING at Indy, paying for a racing team, balancing racing and his "side-hustle" of trafficking thousands of tons of marijuana into the United States.

Randy is an open book... he will talk about any part of his life and be honest about it! He shares his thoughts on people being held in jail, for non-violent cannabis crimes, while the state they're detained in, has some marijuana legalization laws in place (medicinal or recreational).

Randy talks about how difficult it is to drive an Indy car. Sam asks Randy about the 1986 Indy 500. How did he clear his mind, from all that was going on, to drive to such a high finish?

Randy talks deeply about a few topics, and each was well spoken, and from the heart! This was a fantastic hangout, and at the end, Randy poses a WONDERFUL idea, that the guys are thinking MUST HAPPEN!
