Emmy Award-winning actress Eileen Davidson will sit down with me in The Locher Room on to discuss her role as Kristen DiMera in the Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas currently streaming on Peacock.

Eileen originated the role of Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless back in March of 1982 and has played Ashley on and off on Y&R as well as on their sister show, The Bold Bold and the Beautiful since her debut as Ashley almost 40 years ago. Eileen joined the cast of Days of our Lives as Kristen in May of 1993. She recently returned to her role as Kristen for Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem currently streaming on Peacock. In addition to these two iconic daytime roles, Eileen appeared as Kelly Capwell on NBC's Santa Barbara. She was also a series regular on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Seasons 5 through 7 and has made guest appearances in subsequent seasons.

Eileen is also an accomplished author and co-wrote her first novel with author Robert J. Randisi, a mystery set in the soap opera world titled Death in Daytime, released in October 2008. She followed it up with three sequels: Dial Emmy for Murder, Diva Las Vegas, and Swinging in the Rain.
