Story Transcript:

Ro: Într-o zi însorită la București, Andrei se pregătea de o întâlnire importantă.
En: On a sunny day in Bucharest, Andrei was getting ready for an important meeting.

Ro: Era primul lui săptămâna de muncă, iar emoțiile îl cuprinseseră.
En: It was his first week of work, and emotions had taken over him.

Ro: Andrei locuia într-un bloc vechi de pe strada Luminii, un loc plin de istorie și povești.
En: Andrei lived in an old building on Luminii Street, a place full of history and stories.

Ro: În timp ce Andrei intra în lift, cu gândul la ziua care îl aștepta, se auzi un zgomot ciudat.
En: As Andrei stepped into the elevator, thinking about the day ahead, he heard a strange noise.

Ro: Era un vârâit, apoi un fluierat, urmat de un "Bună dimineața!" cristalin.
En: It was a whirring, then a chirping, followed by a crystal-clear "Good morning!"

Ro: Andrei se întoarse surprins și văzu un papagal mare și colorat în colțul liftului.
En: Andrei turned around, surprised to see a large, colorful parrot in the corner of the elevator.

Ro: Andrei zâmbi, dar înainte să spună ceva, lumina pâlpâi și liftul se opri brusc.
En: Andrei smiled, but before he could say anything, the light flickered and the elevator abruptly stopped.

Ro: "Cine e acolo?" întrebă Andrei, dar singurul răspuns pe care îl primi fu o imitație perfectă a propriei voci.
En: "Who's there?" Andrei asked, but the only response he got was a perfect imitation of his own voice.

Ro: "Cine e acolo?" repetă papagalul.
En: "Who's there?" echoed the parrot.

Ro: Adrenalina îl cuprinse pe Andrei, dar el încercă să rămână calm.
En: Adrenaline rushed through Andrei, but he tried to remain calm.

Ro: Strigă după ajutor, şi din nou papagalul îl imită, creând un ecou ciudat în spațiul închis.
En: He yelled for help, and once again the parrot imitated him, creating a strange echo in the enclosed space.

Ro: Minut după minut, timpul părea să se întindă la infinit.
En: Minute after minute, time seemed to stretch on endlessly.

Ro: Elena și Sorin, prietenii lui Andrei, se îngrijoraseră că nu sosi la întâlnirea stabilită și decis să meargă să îl caute.
En: Elena and Sorin, Andrei's friends, grew worried when he didn't show up for their planned meeting and decided to go look for him.

Ro: Ei ajunseră în fața blocului și, pe măsură ce se uitau în jur, auziră zgomote venind din lift.
En: They arrived at the front of the building and, as they looked around, they heard noises coming from the elevator.

Ro: "Pare că venim după tine, Andrei!" glumi Sorin.
En: "Looks like we're coming after you, Andrei!" Sorin joked.

Ro: Uitându-se unul la altul, Elena și Sorin încercară să deschidă ușa liftului, dar fără succes.
En: Looking at each other, Elena and Sorin tried to open the elevator door, but without success.

Ro: În cele din urmă, au sunat la un tehnician și așteptară nerăbdători alături de vecinii curioși care se adunaseră între timp.
En: Finally, they called a technician and waited eagerly alongside curious neighbors who had gathered in the meantime.

Ro: După o jumătate de oră care păru o veșnicie, Andrei fu eliberat din captivitatea metalică.
En: After what felt like an eternity, Andrei was freed from the metallic captivity.

Ro: El povesti despre compania neașteptată și începu să râdă împreună cu prietenii săi, realizând absurditatea situației.
En: He recounted the unexpected company and began to laugh with his friends, realizing the absurdity of the situation.

Ro: Papagalul, care se dovedi a fi scăpat dintr-un apartament vecin, deveni instantaneu vedeta blocului.
En: The parrot, which turned out to have escaped from a neighboring apartment, instantly became the star of the building.

Ro: După acea zi plină de tensiune și râs, Andrei nu mai privi niciodată un lift sau un papagal în același mod.
En: After that tension-filled and laughter-inducing day, Andrei never looked at an elevator or a parrot in the same way again.

Ro: Și așa, în inima aglomeratului oraș, Andrei, Elena și Sorin își aminteau mereu cum o zi obișnuită de muncă se transformase într-o aventură neașteptată, plină de umor și prietenie.
