In this interview with Flow, Emma talks about why she is studying Ag Science with her high graduation score from Loxton High, sings the school's praises and talks about the need to feed the world. The 2021 Lois Harris Scholarship sponsored by The Agricultural Bureau of South Australia was recently awarded to Emma and presented by Ag Bureau Chair, Janette Ridgway. The $2000 Lois Harris Scholarship is awarded to a first-year student studying the Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Adelaide. The scholarship is named in memory of Lois Harris, a member of the Advisory Board of Agriculture from 1995 to 1998. Former Loxton High School student Emma Knowles was the 2021 recipient after receiving the highest Tertiary Entrance Score (TER) for a student entering the Agricultural Science course in 2021 with an outstanding ATAR of 99.7.
