A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is definitely one of the most well known story about history.
Its allegoric meaning and moral message overcomes the religious interpretation of Chtistmas and it focuses of human values, social attitudes and universal ideals.
We sure watched this story reinterpreted in many versions in movies and even cartoons, but the original novella is also quite interesting to analyze in order to understand Dickens's original perspective during the Victorian Age.
Edit: the story was written in 1843. I have no idea of why I said 1848 in my video! I'm sorry!
