The 1860s in America witnessed the ongoing Civil War in the East, while the West experienced expansion. A group of white pioneers ventures into the wilderness to establish a new settlement, following a handbill advertising a non-existent town called ‘Horizon’. The initial settlers are tragically killed by the local Apaches, only to be replaced by more colonisers with larger tents and additional supplies. Despite the presence of an army fort nearby, they remain vulnerable to attacks by indigenous peoples.
